Local author, Kristen Hogan, leads this fun story time by reading her engaging book, Creepy Crawlies Aren’t Creepy at All, in which a little girl attending a party thrown by her parents brings a creepy crawlie with her. This playful, rhyming imaginative story goes through the process of eliminating all the other creepy crawlie guest options and what happens when she takes her guest to the party.

Join us in our air-conditioned Garden Room during one of two sessions (10:30 or 11:00 am). Kids (ages 2-7) and their adult chaperone(s) are welcome. No pre-registration required. Sunken Gardens admission or membership required.

About the Author:

Kristen Hogan is a local, born in Sarasota with two published children’s books and 17 other short story poems copyrighted. She spends her off time reading to children everywhere, writing new stories, and trying to get the next batch published. “I hope to inspire future writers by sharing my personal experience and reading my poem/short stories.”
